Interested in joining I./JG 51?

We welcome anyone who is interesting in flying with us. If you are an expert EAW pilot we would love to add you to our group, but if you have never even flown a flight sim online, then you will still be as warmly welcomed. We are always striving to learn how to be better pilots ourselves and will happily include you as we all improve our own skills. You don't have to pass any flight tests to join our squadron.

Inexperienced players are started as an Unteroffizier (corporal), but advancement can be swift, it's up to you. Experienced players are started at a higher rank, depending on their experience and skills.

We represent a German Luftwaffe unit, so German sounding names as your squadron handle are encouraged. We also encourage the use of German "language" and corruptions of such, all in good humor. We are here to have a good time in fellowship with others interested in exploring this old game, which seems to keep chugging along when so many others have come and gone.

Besides a name, you will need to select a photograph for your avatar on the forum and on the roster page. This can be any reasonable and inoffensive image. You can select one of the images provided below or send us another you care to use. If you select from the list below, be sure to send the number of the photo, so it can be removed from the available images. Image size is 100 pixels wide x 150 pixels high.
